WEEK 11 STARTS:
DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans WR vs. Arizona Cardinals
Under the radar is not a term usually associated with one of the NFL’s best wide receivers. However, DeAndre Hopkins has not received the usual media attention this season partly because of his now injured rookie QB and also the team’s disappointing overall record.
Fantasy owners should not let that deter them from inserting Hopkins into their lineups in Week 11 as he has produced consistent fantasy numbers all season. He has six double digit scoring weeks under his belt, including two 20+ point outbursts against solid secondaries like Kansas City and Seattle.
This week he faces another tough back end as Arizona comes into town. With Tom Savage filling in for the injured Deshaun Watson, expect Hopkins to receive his fair share of targets to capitalize on in Week 11.
Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles TE vs. Dallas Cowboys
Zach Ertz returned to practice fully on Wednesday after nursing a sore hamstring that kept him out of the lineup in the Eagles Week 9 thrashing of the Denver Broncos. Carson Wentz did not seem to miss his TE during the game as the Eagles put up 51 points against the once dominant Denver defense. However, Week 11 will be a different story as the Eagles face their NFC East nemesis, Dallas Cowboys.
After a bye week of rest, Ertz looks to get back in rhythm against the ‘Boys. Prior to sitting out their last contest, Ertz had been putting up very respectable fantasy points as one of the leading TE in the league.
We’re starting Ertz this week due to the success he’s seen in 2017 when playing NFC East opponents. Ertz has averaged 11.23 points in three games this season against the Redskins and Giants.
Jacksonville Jaguars DEF vs. Cleveland Browns
Jacksonville has been an opportunistic defense all year and Cleveland will be the latest team to feel their wrath. The Jags point totals on defense have exploded this season by way of fumbles, interceptions, and sacks. They also have added four non-offensive touchdowns to their laundry list of defensive accomplishments.
Unfortunately, the Cleveland Browns enter the game giving up the most fantasy points to opposing defenses. It will be a long day in Cleveland for the home team Browns.
