Dallas, Tx— In 2017 Pylon 7 on 7 Football will be celebrating its 11th anniversary as the founders of club 7v7 football.  Over the past decade, Pylon has seen over1,500 Athletes go on to play college football at the Division I level with over 175 players continuing on to the NFL. In commemoration of such achievements, Pylon is excited to announce 7 on 7  football into the 51st AAU Junior Olympic Games and the return of the nation’s most prestigious National Championship event to be played at AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas.

Pylon’s National Championship Series is set to kickoff February 5, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee, at Tennessee State University. The tour will have stops in Los AngelesLas VegasOrlandoChicagoPittsburgh,BirminghamNiagara Falls, Reno, New Orleans and more.  Each stop on the series tour will serve as a qualifier to the aforementioned Pylon National Championship, set to transpire during the first week of July.  Additionally, each qualifying event will allow 7 on 7 teams an opportunity to be invited to participate in the 51st AAU Junior Olympic Games to be held in Detroit, Michigan.  The AAU Junior Olympic Games is the largest multi-sport event for youth in the United States with more than 15,000 athletes participating every year.  Notable AAU Junior Olympic Games alumni include:  Jackie Joyner Kersee, Carl Lewis, Robert Griffin IIIJordy Nelson and Ezekiel Elliott.

The sport of 7 on 7 Football is rapidly growing, as more and more coaches, players, and parents are discovering that 7 on 7 football is a fun, safe, and an inexpensive way for football players to showcase their abilities in front of college recruiting media while developing their position specific skill set.  This platform allowed New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to show off his one-handed catches on a national stage for the first time, as an under-recruited prospect and Minnesota Vikings quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, to lead his team to the 2010 Pylon National Championship hosted at the University of Alabama. The Pylon platform is rivaled by none!

As the leaders in the industry, Pylon continues to raise the bar, all in an effort to improve the experience of participating athletes, as well as attracting national recruiting analysts and scouts that help promote the participants on national platforms.  Pylon was the first organization to hold a 7 on 7 football club event, the first to hold a 7 on 7 football National Championship,  and the first to host a football event in the AAU Junior Olympic Games. We take Pride in leading the way!
